Buying Guide
Match the Lamp to the Distance
Friendship lamps suit couples, friends, and families who live far apart. A tap on one lamp lights the other lamp far away. Pick a lamp that works in your country and your time zone.
Check Subscription Costs First
Some lamps need a monthly subscription, while others work free after purchase. The FriendLi lamp needs a subscription, so read its terms before you buy. Free lamps cost more up front, but pay nothing each month after.
Compare Set Size and Single Lamps
Sets of two suit couples, while single lamps suit solo buyers best. The Filimin Classic comes as a set of two or one lamp. Check the pack size, since color lines often list the pack instead.
Look at Size and Weight for Small Rooms
Sizes here run from 3.5 to 8.0 inches tall, so read the table first. Small lamps suit shelves, while tall lamps suit side tables best. Weights here run from 0.69 lb to 4.02 lb, so read the table first.
Think About App and Touch Control
Some lamps use touch only, while others add app control too. App lamps need Wi-Fi setup, so check your network before you buy. For table lamp ideas, see our table lamps for living room picks before you buy.
Pair Friendship Lamps With Other Lights
One small lamp rarely lights a whole room by itself at night. Add a ceiling light or wall light for layers of warm light. For bedside ideas, see our bedside lamp with wireless charging picks before you buy.
